Can't send or receive mails

What have you done before the problem occurred?

Please provide a full description of the problem:
No email since tuesday, I've send some yesterday and this morning but after I upgraded no outgoing mails either. I've tried everything even to add a new account not even that is working . It says my email address is not right when it's correct and the password aswell. When I go on my normal mail it's working perfectly. I tried the file and transfer wizard but won't export my data only import and I need to save my data before I reinstall . Help please
