connection

Your Internet Browser Type: Internet Explorer 8
Your Operation System: Windows 7

What have you done before the problem occurred?
tried the help section but nothing!

If you receive any error message, please quote it precisely:
operation incomplete

Please provide a full description of the problem:
when I try to connect nothing happens and the message operation incomplete

The issue you are dealing with may be caused by incorrect account details. I would like you to reconfigure your email using the 'Email Setup Wizard':

1. First please refresh your IncrediMail installation by clicking on the following link - http://www.incredimail.com/English/down ... rsion=test

2. Click 'Tools' and then select 'Email Accounts...'.

3. Chose your account, click 'Remove'. To reconfigure the account, click 'Add'.

4. In the Account Wizard window, choose 'Let me configure settings myself', and click 'Next'. **Please Note –** If you do not have another email client installed on your computer, you will not see the 'Let me configure…' option. Continue to Step 5.

5. Please choose your email service provider. If it is not listed, click 'Other'.

6. Follow the instructions to set up your account.

Let me know the results.

**Note:** Make sure that the password that you have entered is identical to the one your email account provider has given you.

I am having the same problems. I have even been on line with my server provider and though they were great we couldn't stop the Incoming Mail server changing back from enquiries@horsehabit.com.au to enquiries I've tried removing and re adding but even though everything is entered correctly it just keeps changing back to enquiries and then of course it comes up that Horsehabit.com.au server authorisation fails and in the help section -ERR Could not determine server
Is there anything I can do, or is just a case of I can't use incredimail :(

Did your account previously work in IncediMail ?

When did this isstart occurring?

Are you able to configure your account in another mail client?

When I want to receive mails, I have a window with the following error message :
L'autorisation pour le compte <Name> a échoué.
Err Could not determine server.

I previously received my e-mails and did not change anything in the settings of my account.

Any idea how I can solve this problem ?

To address this issue, I would like you to reconfigure your email account using the "Email Setup Wizard":

If the problem continues, I would like you to test your email account settings in Mozilla Thunderbird as instructed in our online article at http://support.incredimail.com/entries/ ... ail-client, and see if you are indeed able to send/receive messages from that email account.

Note: By accessing your mailbox via webmail, you are bypassing all security restrictions on your account, and thus does not help us in troubleshooting the problem.

Please let me know the results.

I removed my account and added it again, but I still have the same error message.

It works with Thunderbird :I receive and can send mails.

Do you have a solution for Incredimail ? I would like to continue to use Incredimail.

To further address this issue, please click on Tools > Email Accounts, select the appropriate account, click on "Properties", and post a screenshot of the General, Servers, and Advanced tabs.

In addition, please post a screenshot of the "Server Settings" and "Outgoing Server (SMTP)" tabs in Mozilla Thunderbird for comparison.

Note: To display the top menu in Thunderbird, simply press the <Alt> key on your keyboard. After that, please click on Tools > Account Settings and send us a screenshot of the above tabs.

To create the screenshots, please run the following executable:

When you arrive at each of the above tabs, click on "Make Screenshot" in the bottom right-hand corner of your screen.

When done, close the IncrediMail Screenshot Creator and attach the "IncrediMail__000X.JPG" files created on your Desktop to your next post.
