Has anyone used Incredimail 2.0 (old version) with Windows 10?

I have been given the link for the old version to reinstall, since there are so many issues with 2.5, but since my new computer has Windows 10, I've no guarantee the old version (2.0 released in 2000) will even work with Windows 10.

Does anyone have any experience with the two together? I just don't want to go through all the hassle of losing old emails and having to forward them to a safe place prior to reinstalling 2.0 and not having it work out.

Thanks

While IncrediMail 2.0 should also work on Windows 10, it is not officially supported.

If necessary, to manually implement the crash fix in IncrediMail 2.0, please do the following:

1. Exit the IncrediMail application by right-clicking on the icon in your Windows taskbar and selecting "Exit".

2. In Windows Explorer, browse to the following path:
C:\Program Files (x86)\IncrediMail\Bin

3. Rename the file "PMC.dll" to "PMC.dll.old".

4. Relaunch the IncrediMail application.

Please let me know the results.

thank you, i have found this helps. i do not want to use 2.5.
as it uses the imap settings and syncs with my browser, which is not why i bought this email client.
i have saved over the years my personalised images in this old version, on my Own Computer. which 2.5 does not save for me.
i have personalised my folders which allows me to look at each folder at a quick glance. i do not want to sync with online, as it is different and too bland.
