If you are using any kind of firewall or personal proxy, please disable it and try to send or receive.

If the problem persists, you will have to configure your Firewall to allow IncrediMail access to the Internet.

Go to the firewall settings, find the list of all the programs the firewall has detected and allow the following applications full access to the Internet:

• IncMail.exe
• IMApp.exe
• ImNotfy.exe
• ImpCnt.exe

This action should allow you to work with IncrediMail and your firewall at the same time.

Did you try to open a new Identity? I would like you to open a new Identity and configure your email account using it.

To create a new Identity, please click 'Tools' and then 'Identities'. From here you have the option of choosing 'New Identity'.

Set up your Identity, and check to see if problem continues to occur in the new Identity.

Let me know if you still encounter the same problem.

To switch between Identities, simply click your Identity name, located next to the Profile Picture in the upper left corner. From here you can switch or manage Identities.

Yes I've done that multiple times also! These are all stock answers that I have received over the years and are rarely successful solutions. what else can I do?

What exact error message you are seeing?

When sending and receiving from IncrediMail, you may encounter an Error Message. These messages are usually not from IncrediMail; they are from your Email Server, or the Recipient's Email Server, and will give you a clue as to why they message was not sent.

To help you correct these issues, IncrediMail has created a list of common errors, and how to fix them. Simply search for your Error Message from the list below, and click on it for a solution!

If any trouble continues, please contact your mail provider and ask them for the following details:

1. IMAP and SMTP mail server addresses.

2. Port numbers for the IMAP and SMTP mail servers.

3. Do you need to authenticate when sending mail?

4. Do you need to use SSL?

Verify with them that the username and password that you are using are correct.

In the top menu of the main IncrediMail window, click on Tools > Email Accounts, select the particular account and click on "Properties".

Check that the details you have in IncrediMail are indeed correct.

The certificate's CN name does not match the passed value.

Now I'm getting multiple duplicates of old e-mails but no new ones except the ones from Incredimail. I don't have "leave a copy on the server" checked. Now what?

Error message when I changed my username to correct one: Socket Error: 10054, Port: 995, Protocol: POP.An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.

Why can't I receive new e-mails. The newest are only from June, 2017
