New Pop out and inbound security settings
Hi, I have used incredimail now since 2003. And this is my first time with any problems to have to post at this or any forum. I sent a help email into Incredimail but got no answer. I think I will lose my ability to use incredimail now because my internet/email supplier cox.net insists on changing the pop inbound and outbound numbers from outbound 25 and 110 inbound to 465 outbound and 995 inbound with SSL enabled. This does not work in incredimail. I can not send or receive with these numbers. I have a gmail account for emergencies and that is set up with these new security numbers. Will Incredimail be able to fix this so that I can keep using incredimail? I would really hate losing it, it's the only program I've ever used since I first got a pc. Thank You. ~Rose
Re: New Pop out and inbound security settings
I am having the same exact problem. I have had IncrediMail for probably close to 15 years. And now Cox is changing the the inbound and outbound. They do not support IncrediMail and never have but I have never had any issues until this change. I love my IncrediMail. So my question is the same...IncrediMail is there a fix? This is IMPORTANT to your customers especially those that use Cox ISP. Please, please, please respond quickly with some good news. Thank you.

Re: New Pop out and inbound security settings
First of all, please contact your mail provider (cox.net) and ask them for the following details:
1. IMAP and SMTP mail server addresses.
2. Port numbers for the IMAP and SMTP mail servers.
3. Do you need to authenticate when sending mail?
4. Do you need to use SSL?
Verify with them that the username and password that you are using are correct.
In the top menu of the main IncrediMail window, click on Tools > Email Accounts, select the particular account and click on "Properties".
Check that the details you have in IncrediMail are indeed correct.
