If you're having an issue that cannot be solved, you might want to try opening a new Identity to see if this issue occurs there.
To open a new Identity, click the 'Tools' menu in the IncrediMail main window, scroll to 'Identities' and select 'New Identity...'. Enter a name for your new Identity and click 'OK'. Once the new Identity opens, enter your details and set up your email account.
Does the problem continue to occur in the new Identity? If not, you can easily import your old Messages and Contacts by clicking here and following the instructions provided.
Please Note: Your emails will not be visible in the new Identity - to view your emails just switch back to your former Identity, by clicking your Profile Image and selecting your old Identity.

I did this and it worked fine, but I lost all my contact addresses, How can I retrieve them, I did try with a drop down box but something went wrong. Is there something in the tools that can do it ?

In this case, to import the previous contacts into the new identity, please do the following:
1. Exit the IncrediMail application by right-clicking on the icon in your Windows taskbar and selecting "Exit".
2. In File Explorer, browse to the following path:
C:\Users\YOURUSER\AppData\Local\IM
Note: YOURUSER refers to your actual Windows user.
As the "AppData" folder may sometimes be hidden, for instructions on how to show hidden files and folders in Windows, please refer to the online article at:

3. Copy the "Identities" folder to your Desktop.
4. Open IncrediMail, click on File > Import and Export > Import Contacts.
5. In the pop-up window, select "IncrediMail Address Book" and click on Next.
6. Click "Select Folder" and browse to the "Identities" folder located on your Desktop. Click on Next.
7. When complete, click on Finish.
Please let me know the results.

A new problem has emerged, I had to rewrite my email addresses and one is proving difficult , The address is joe%internode, it appears the r and n join up and register as m, I check carefully but my mail keeps returning, any idea on how to fix this, I keep hoping he will mail me so I can use his address to put in my contacts , I think that is the only way too fix it, unless you can help.

I apologize, but " joe%internode" is not a valid email address.
A valid email address would be "joe@internode.com" or something similar.

I know that was not a valid address, it was only an example Thankfully i got a message from the person and was able to grab his address.
