The problem you are experiencing can usually be solved by deleting your IncrediMail 'Runtime' folder. After deleting the Runtime folder, the folder will be automatically recreated, and your IncrediMail content will once again be saved each time it is used:

1. To delete your 'Runtime' folder, please click here

http://www2l.incredimail.com/contents/s ... el_run.exe

2. Click 'Run' in the File Download dialog, click 'Run' again when asked to run the software and follow the instructions in the SupportUtil dialog.

Open IncrediMail and let me know the results.

The same thing is happening to me. Incredimail has been freezing then starting again for a few months, but now it's crashing a minute or two after opening it.

Have tried updating it, then re-installing it, and after reading the advice given to the last person to post have deleted runtime, but it's still happening.

Can you please help, otherwise I'm going to have to remove Incredimail and download Outlook Express!

Thanks, Toni.

I have Incredimail 2. It started freezing when I opened it, then eventually opening. This happened for a few weeks and now it just crashes a minute after opening.

Please click the 'Help' menu and select 'About IncrediMail', let me know which Build ID appears in the window that opens.

Since you are experiencing this problem, I would like you to try and boot your computer in Safe Mode, which loads Windows with only the necessary drivers, then try using IncrediMail again.

To boot your Windows in Safe Mode, please do the following:

1. Print out these instructions so you can follow them after restarting your computer.

2. Restart your computer.

3. Before Windows starts, press the 'F8' key on your keyboard.

4. Select the 'Safe Mode (with Networking)' option from the 'Mode Select' menu.

After Windows starts up, open IncrediMail and let me know if the problem continues to occur.

Please Note: To restore your computer to its normal state, simply reboot it.

I would like you to open a new Identity and see if you still encounter the same problem.

To create a new Identity, please click 'Tools' and then 'Identities'. From here you have the option of choosing 'New Identity'.

Set up your Identity, and check to see if problem continues to occur in the new Identity.

Let me know what happens.

Please Note: Your messages will not be visible in the new Identity - to view your emails just switch back to your former Identity.

To switch between Identities, click your Identity name, located next to the Profile Picture in the upper left corner. From here you can switch or manage Identities.

Hi, I have Incredimail 2.5 Build ID 6605273. Setup ID: 2 Pn.146897134.

I tried opening it in Safe Mode but it still freezes then crashes.

I use Google Chrome and Windows 7.

I'd like you to download the full setup file for IncrediMail and see if that solves the problem.

Please click the following link to download and install IncrediMail:

http://www5l.incredimail.com/im/imsetup ... lSetup.exe

Let me know if the problem persists.
