Spelling

Postby yorkshirelass » Mon Jul 15, 2013 7:51 am

Your IncrediMail Version: incredimail Premium
Your Internet Browser Type: FireFox 3.5
Your Operation System: Windows Vista

What have you done before the problem occurred?
Using Firefox 22.0

Tried to do this ; doesn't work !
Make sure you see your spelling mistakes
Sometimes you write your emails so fast you don't even notice that you missed a letter in one of your words. IncrediMail's "Highlight Spelling Errors" feature won't let you get away with it. When you activate it, every misspelled word gets and when you right-click on the word, alternative words are offered to you for quick & easy replacement. To activate this feature from your email, click on "Spelling" in your Format Toolbar and select "Highlight Spelling Errors". With this feature you will never misspell another word.

If you receive any error message, please quote it precisely:
No error message just a box with "Paste" Insert attachment " etc.

Please provide a full description of the problem:
I do not get any alternative words when I right click on a misspelt word; it works online here but not within Incredimail.

The issue is related with the latest Windows update - KB2846071

You can disable the automatic update by going going to Start > Control Panel > System and Security > Windows Update > Change Settings.

I disabled that update and spelling still keeps highlighting red underneath words that are spelled correctly.
This is getting worse all the time.

I'd like you to download the full setup file for IncrediMail and see if that solves the problem.

Please click the following link to download and install IncrediMail:

http://www.incredimail.com/english/down ... &beta=true

Please let me know if the problem persists.

Downloaded and install, spelling now seems to work, but it did that last time and then stopped.

Lets wait and see.
