Strange incredimail error with gmail and pop3

Strange incredimail error with gmail and pop3

Hi, recently I changed my pc, so I reinstalled incredimail on new win10 pc, but I've a lot of problem! Let me explain myself

I wanna use gmail with pop3 protocol so:

If I configure the account with gmail button (I mean I add a new account and I use the gmail wizard to add the account).
When a popup ask me to give access to incrediamil and I do, then on incredimail side I've to change the server because are wrong, so I follow this guide https://support.google.com/mail/answer/7104828?hl=en
I see that the password that incredimail show (the asterisk, is very long, my password is shorter but I followed the popup to allow access to incrediamil, so I think is ok)
Till here, not normal but ok, I can do it. Then I try to send and receive mail, but here the 1st problem, I can't receive any mail and I can only send email!!!!!!!

But all is correct, note that I can send email!!!!

Then I delete the account and I create a new one, but instead use the gmail wizard I use the "custom" one.
At the end I've to change the username because @gmail.com is missing, not a big deal, so I end up with the account configured with right port and servers but when I try to send and receive email I got the second surprise, I cannot send email!!!!!!

I receive all email but I can't send email!!!!!

What I can do?

To address this issue, please allow less secure apps to access your Gmail account as instructed in the online article at:
https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/6010255

After that, please click on Tools > Email Accounts, remove your existing account, and then add it once again.

That option is already on, but incredimail don't works like expected.
I'm a premium user since years and never had a problem, till now with win10!

Any idea?

In that case, please make sure to turn off 2-Step Verification in Gmail as instructed in the online article at:

2 factor is not active.

Like I said I use incredimail from long time ago, but now don't works, I don't changed nothing on google side.

To further address this issue, I would like you to test your email account settings in Mozilla Thunderbird as instructed in our online article at http://support.incredimail.com/entries/ ... ail-client, and see if you are indeed able to send/receive messages from that email account.

Note: By accessing your mailbox via webmail, you are bypassing all security restrictions on your account, and thus does not help us in troubleshooting the problem.

Ok, so I tried with thunderbird and works, at start of sync ask me auth to access to gmail but works, with thunderbird I can send and receive mails.

I tried again with incredimail, from scratch, with or without 2factor auth, with app password, but nothing. If I configure incredimail with wizard and I compile the gmail request I can only send email, but If I add manually the gmail account I can only receive email. Always for pop3

To verify that you have configured the proper settings in Gmail, I would like you to post two screenshots showing that 2-Step Verification has been disabled in Gmail and that you have allowed less secure apps to access your account.

To create the screenshots, please run the following executable:

When viewing the above settings, click on "Make Screenshot" in the bottom right-hand corner of your screen.

Close the IncrediMail Screenshot Creator and attach the "IncrediMail_Screenshot_000X.JPG" files located on your Desktop to your next post.
