Can not change the font color in an email

It appears that I developed a color graphics problem. I no longer can activate any options involving color (Text Color, Highlight Text, Format Painter ...) Also all the letter backgrounds that contain color or color texture do not register (they show up blank). I would appreciate any help or suggestions.

To address this issue, please click on Tools > Options > Emails, and next to "Default Letter Style", select the option "Use Default". Click on OK.

If the problem continues, I would like you to run the full setup file for IncrediMail and see if that solves the problem.

Please run the following executable to install the latest build of IncrediMail 2.5:

When complete, please restart your computer.

Please let me know if you still encounter difficulties.

Installing the latest build did not correct the problem. Any other suggestions?

To be sure, did you first click on Tools > Options > Emails, and next to "Default Letter Style", select the option "Use Default" ?

If so, and the problem continues, please try resetting the Internet Explorer settings as instructed in the online article at:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923737

After that, please restart your computer to ensure the changes take effect.

If the problem still continues, I would like you to create a new identity in IncrediMail and see if you still encounter the same problem.
 
To create a new identity, please click on Tools > Identities > New Identity.
 
Set up your identity and see if the problem continues to occur in the new identity.

Please note that I would like you to configure the same email address in your new identity, there is no need to create a new email address. While the identity name should be different, the email address should be exactly the same.

As everything is being done in the new identity, none of the data and settings in your original identity should be affected.

To switch back to your original identity, simply click on Tools > Switch Identity, select the appropriate identity, and click on OK.

Thank you much for the follow-up.
Yes the "Use Default" option was on, but no improvement.
I don’t have/use "Internet Explorer", my browser of choice is Google Chrome.
I have two other identities in the Incredimail program, one with the same address and the other with a different email address. They are all reacting the same way.

As IncrediMail uses the plugins from Internet Explorer, you must reset the settings in Internet Explorer.

This is regardless of the browser you actually use to access the internet.

Resetting the Internet Explorer settings did the trick.
Everything is back to normal.
