notifier

Postby JamieLee » Sun Nov 28, 2010 12:26 am

Your IncrediMail Version: 2
Your Internet Browser Type: Internet Explorer 8
Your Operation System: Windows 7

What have you done before the problem occurred?
Changed the notifier of a butler to a notifier of a butler with a photo

If you receive any error message, please quote it precisely:

Please provide a full description of the problem:
When I first downloaded Incredimail the butler announced you have mail madam but since I changed it to a photo notifier it says you have mail sir. It says female on my info

There are two different Butlers (they both like the same) that will deliver your mail according to the gender you choose.

Currently the Photo Notifier is programmed to only say Sir.

I will pass on this comment to Creative!

" There are two different Butlers (they both like the same) that will deliver your mail according to the gender you choose. "

Here is how to chose: TOOLS | SELECT NOTIFIER

Then click on the icons to hear which one you want.

Thanks for adding that info as the last post was from way back in 2010.

We have since added a photo notifier to say "Madam".

My notifiers have suddenly become silent. I have not changed any settings. The only time that sound is there, is if I access the photo notifier creator, but when I chose any notifier they are silent. I have latest version of Adobe Flash. Any advice would be appreciated.

To address this issue, please manually reset the Internet Explorer settings as instructed in the online article at:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923737

Note: As IncrediMail uses the plugins from Internet Explorer, you must reset the settings in Internet Explorer. This is regardless of the browser you actually use to access the internet.

After that, please restart your computer to ensure the changes take effect.

Please let me know the results.
