Power Point Presentation tries to open with media player [Solved]

What have you done before the problem occurred?
Have tried to reset the way a PPS opens. Cannot find a way to change settings. All PPS attachments try to open with my VLC media player. Now the only way I can view a PPS is to save it on the computer in a different location. PPS's used to open automatically, with Power Point Viewer.

In order to do so you need to associate the correct program to open the attachment.
 
First, save the attachment to your Desktop. Secondly, right click on the file and click on 'Properties'.
 
Next to the 'Open With' option click on 'Change'. Select the appropriate application and click on 'OK'.  
 
This should resolve this issue, from now on every similar file extension will open with the associated application.

Been there. Done that. Works just fine outside of incredimail. Save the way it opens, then open incredimail, and it tries to open with VLC.

Thanks all. I got it fixed. I just uninstalled Power Point Viewer, then downloaded it again. Gary
