LC Preview Pane

Postby jrhoz » Sat Sep 12, 2009 4:52 pm

Dear Boffins @ Incredimail
:ugeek: :geek:

Can some functionality be added to the preview pane :?:

like
 True represnetatopn of the letter
-the preivew may look ok but after exportint to IM & test drive only to find the image obsured by the "Form" area or too wide or to narrow or too short
 Dragable image frame to resive.repostion the image to overcome the above.
 an image prep tool that woul make an image the optimum dimensions; it could also adjust image brightness/contrast *85%/25%) for a watermark effect.

Thats it (for now :P )

Thank you for all the wonderful suggestions.

Most of these changes are already in our work plans and should be available in Letter Creator next versions. :D
Best regards,

Good to hear emoticon-0100-smile

Can I suggest that a forum, under each product, [mail/letter creator/etc] have a locked topic listing of the suggestions made in the forums for that product.

It should list all "constructive" suggestions made by users and allow a rating vote for each to help the developers prioritise.

The rating should be 1-5 points and show the total scored, with one vote per item per member.

The list should display from highest ranking down, dynamically.

Once accepted for development, the rating box should be closed & marked as under development.

If a group of suggestions that would be cost effective to co-develop, regardless of rating, then all suggestions in that group should be marked as under development.

I suggest that once accepted for development a tracking code be assigned to the suggestion or group of suggestions.

Once developed & TESTED - perhaps invite the originator to partake in an on-line (no need to download) test drive, via a single use link. If its approved, move the suggestion to a locked “Pending Release” forum.

When the release is available, notify the fact, stating the build number and listing all the included suggestions/bug fixes/etc in descriptive detail.

An easy search, using fuzzy logic should be provided & include discussion threads / suggestions / in development / pending release / released as targets, possibly in reverse order thus finding the latest status.

I think that this methodology is win / win; we as users can see we are taken seriously & can track suggestions; your help desk should get less inquiries; your developers get a feel as to what the user wants and just how important it is.

Hoping this reaches the right ears (and the left ones too)

Thanks
