unable to open PDF files as an attachment

here is an interesting problem that so far no one has been able to resolve. I get an email from a company with an attached PDF file that I cannot open with Adobe reader X says that it has been corrupted or problem with the decoding. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe, also cleared out temp. internet files, using Mozilla firefox as default browser.
But I get the same email on my iphone3 (verizon carrier) can open the attachment and then forward to my email and then i can open the PDF file on my computer........ any clue as to why this would be happening? Why I can't get it to open straight from the Company on my computer. my computer OS is Windows Vista.

Please try to save the PDF file on your Desktop first, and only then try to open it from the Desktop.

Please send me the problematic email you received - it must be sent as an .eml file.

Select the email message you want to save as an .eml from your Inbox.

In the IncrediMail main window, click the 'File' menu and select 'Save As'.

Name the .eml file and save it to your Desktop.

Please attach the .eml file to a PM (Private Message) to me.

Unfortunately, it seems that the PDF file inside that email message is empty.

Do you have any Security application that scans your email?

Please try to disable any security applications that you currently have installed, and try to send a working PDF to yourself.

I get the message Adobe Reader could not open "XYZ.PDF because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example it was sent as an e-mail attachment and wasn't correctly decoded). I can open the exact same e-mail in Outlook and the files work perfectly. Everyone else in the office that uses Incredimail has the same issue, so it seems that the problem is in the way Incredimail handles the decoding. Have you figured out a solution?
