Life long Member does not mean much to IM

I purchased IM over 10 years ago it was the top of the line e-mail system. it also gave a lifetime membership using my reg. code which at one time removed the ads. This life time membership does not mean much today if I want spam blocker I have to buy plus if I want no ads I have to buy plus. The life time membership was to thank you to those of us that got IM started. Now all we get is screwed if I knew that my software was not going to be kept up to date 10 years ago I would have looked for something else to use. I know IM could care less but if that's the way they take care of a so called lifetime member hate to see what they do to one time users.
