cannot activate IM plus

I purchased Incredimail Plus yesterday and when I go to Help>Registration Code and put in the code it will not activate. It gives a #5 error message. I have read the instructions by the board and have Allowed all IM sites in my Norton Firewall. It still will not activate. Please help> I have the free version of IM now. Is this the reason that it won't activate. Thank you.

An UPDATE. I forgot to say that I am using Windows8. I still have not heard anything from Incredimail.

I have found the best way to deal with the error -5 code is to delete your license folder, then go to Incredimail download and download the FULL VERSION again (not the upgrade) and use that to reinstall. Then retry to intall your licenses again!!

As I had the error -5 this morning i deleted my licenses folder, then did the full download of the software reinstalled it, and tried to reinstall my licenses and everything worked like a charm!

If you try to download the update one it will say your not connected to the interenet... When you really are...

Matthew196, thank you very much. Yes this has worked. I have lost all my letters etc but it is easy to get them back and worth it. So glad you could help.

Im glad i could help! They actually say reinstalling from the full version refreashes all the files and reapirs any damaged files from previous installations and i think that why we had our problems.
