transfering emails and messages

What have you done before the problem occurred?
bought new computer

So my mom is going crazy because she is missing a bunch of emails after she got a new computer. I tried transferring the data per these instructions The transfer works, but all it does is move the contacts and some other things, but my mom wants the folders in her incredmail that she keeps certain emails from people in. I looked on the computer and they are located in .imm files. Why do these not transfer? Can somebody please help.

The instructions in the link you attached create a backup of all your IncrediMail data, including contacts. Did you import your data successfully?
