cannot install incredimail on windows 10 computer

I cannot install incrediamail on a computer with windows 10 ??

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to install incrediamail on a computer with windows 10.

How ?? And which version of incredimail is compatible with windows 10

Hello,

In this case, please run the following executable to install the latest build of IncrediMail 2.5:
http://www5l.incredimail.com/im/imsetup ... lSetup.exe

If necessary, first save the above executable to your computer, then right-click on the file and select the option "Run as administrator".

Hi I have been using Incredimail for many years and followed the updates as they've come along. I lost my internet connection yesterday and since then cannot access the program at all.

I am using windows 10 and incredimail 2.5- it as been working fine.

I have uninstalled / re-installed / run in safe mode - nothing helps.

Any suggestions please.

As IncrediMail 2.5 can certainly be installed on Windows 10, what is the error message you receive (if any) when running the setup file ?

Hi Thanks for the response, the install process runs as expected - no messages - errors or otherwise are seen. When the installation is finished and incredimail is configured, nothing happens when I click on the icon in the system tray or from the start menu.

To address this issue, I would like you to boot your computer in Safe Mode, which loads Windows with only the necessary drivers, and then try using IncrediMail again.

To boot your Windows in Safe Mode, please do the following:

1. Simultaneously press the Windows and R keys on your keyboard to open the Run dialog.

2. In the Run dialog, enter "msconfig" (without the quotes) and press Enter on your keyboard.

3. In the 'System Configuration' dialog, go to the 'Boot' tab.

4. Under 'Boot Options', select the options "Safe boot" and "Network".

5. In addition, make sure the option "Make all boot settings permanent" is not selected.

6. Click on OK and then restart your computer.

After Windows starts up, open IncrediMail and let me know if the problem continues to occur.

To restore your computer to its normal state, simply restart it once again.

Note: If for some reason you get stuck in Safe Mode, simply open the System Configuration dialog once again, and on the General tab, select the option "Normal Startup". Click on OK and then restart your computer.

Hi everyone, I have been using free version of windows 10 since Oct '15. Incredimail stopped working last weekend and I got the same error message as others. After days of re-installing IM and messing around I was becoming frustrated. I read an old message from another user and it worked. It's Windows 10 the problem, go to add/remove programs, at the top click on recent Microsoft updates. I deleted the last 3 updates added in December from Microsoft without my knowledge <Smile> hey presto IM is now working again. MS are determined we use their emails !!! <No>
