version 2.5 installation problems

Your Internet Browser Type: FireFox 3.5
Your Operation System: Windows 7

What have you done before the problem occurred?
I run Windows 8.1. I paid for and downloaded IM ver. 2.5. I double clicked on the setup file -- and nothing happened. The setup file would not initiate.

If you receive any error message, please quote it precisely:
No error messages, no anything.

Please provide a full description of the problem:
As stated above, all I tried to do was to install ver. 2.5 of IM. The setup file does nothing when double clicking on it. Please help, as ver. 2.0 is not working correctly. Thank you.
