error 2753

hallo, I have been a premium member for almost 20 years and as of today I am having great difficulty in reinstalling the newer version of 2.5. I had 2.0 for many years and as of today it did not work anymore, so I had to uninstall it. I tried to do a new installation, and it told me it would make an upgrade, even so I do not have incredimail on my computer. the error message reads as follows:

error 2753-the file imsetup.exe is not marked for installation. please advise a.s.a.p. because right now I cannot get any new installation or an upgrade.

Came here because of the same issue. Sounds like we even started using Incredimail about the same time. Pretty disappointing this thread is just sitting here for a year and a half. Good luck.

To address this issue, simply download the Windows uninstall tool at https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/hel ... or-removed, unstall IncrediMail 2.0/2.5 using that utility, and then run the IncrediMail installation once again.
