Cannot install "Encountered an invalid argument"

I cannot install Incredimail as I get a new small window with the message "Encountered an invalid argument" just after the screen where it asks do I want to install MyStart? I then have to use Ctrl Alt Del to start Task manager to end the application.
I am running Windows 7 Professional Version 6.1 (Build 7601: Service Pack 1)
Any help would be great. Thanks in advance

In this case, please run the following executable to install the latest build of IncrediMail 2.5:
http://www5l.incredimail.com/im/imsetup ... lSetup.exe

If the problem continues, first save the above executable to your computer, then right-click on the file and select the option "Run as administrator".

If the problem still continues, temporarily disable your anti-virus software and then run the executable, as the anti-virus may be preventing the completion of the installation.

Hi again, I tried all ways that you suggested but still kept coming up with invalid argument message!!

In this case, it's possible the issue you encountered is because another program installed on your computer is conflicting with IncrediMail.

I would therefore like you to restart your computer, loading only the basic programs, by doing the following:

1. Click on the Windows Start menu, enter "msconfig" in the search box, and press <Enter> on your keyboard.

2. In the 'System Configuration' dialog, select the 'Startup' tab and click on 'Disable All'.

3. Restart your computer.

4. With only the basic programs loaded, please run the Incredimail installation and let me know what happens.

To restore your computer's default settings, simply repeat steps 1 and 2 and click the 'Enable All' option.

If the problem continues, I would like you switch to another Windows user (create one if necessary) and then run the IncrediMail installation.
