Can't upgrade to build 6064497

Your IncrediMail Version: 2.0 - Build 6064481
Your Internet Browser Type: FireFox 3.5
Your Operation System: Windows 7

What have you done before the problem occurred?

Hi, i use Incredimail from years and i currently have the 2.0 build 6064481.
A few minutes ago i try to upgrade it to build 6064497 but i got a message saying that a more recent version of Incredimail is already installed in my computer...
This never happen to me in the past, everytime i always upgrade to new builds without any problem !

I even tried to close Incredimail before run the upgrade but nothing changed.

I tried with both "upgrade" and "complete setup" installation but i receive the same message.

I have Windows 7 64 bit.

What can i do ?

Yes, I have the same exact problem! Or, had and may still have. I don't know. I finally had to do manual delete of everything left behind after uninstall. That included files, folders, and many many registry entries. Then, i was finally able to reinstall incredimail. BUT...very strangely, the "new" install put me back to build 4480! Previously, i had build 4494! I went backwards. I have no idea what's going on but it has to do with Incredimail 2. Seeing your post at least makes it official that it's not MY computer that caused the problem. I'm not the only one to see that message when trying to update to build 4497. Neither, are you alone in this matter.

I am having the same problem trying to upgrade but the next build up released on the 3rd of March, and getting the same message, this is the build I am trying to get, with no success

Version 6.06 build 4501 Released March 03, 2010
Minor bug fixes

Any suggestions to solve this problem would be appreciated emoticon-0100-smile

We are aware of this issue. We will release a new version of IncrediMail 2 which will solve this issue. This new version will be released later this week.

I will keep you updated as soon as this new version will be released.
