Can't open IM

Your IncrediMail Version: Can't see
Your Internet Browser Type: IE8
Your Operation System: Windows 7

What have you done before the problem occurred?
Had to re-install IM2

If you receive any error message, please quote it precisely:
None

Please provide a full description of the problem:
I can't open IM2, but right after re-installing I could get letters from the site. Also, I could ONLY get letters from the site, nothing else would be added to my style box. After that, I can't even open the program, let alone use it.

Try to reinstall IM2 again using the latest full setup file from the link below:

Hi cdenice,

After 3!!!!!!!!!!! full re-installments AND the removal of JunkFilter Plus!!!! I finally got the IM2 to open and send/receive mail.
However, adding any content is a no show, or a very slow show, and not all backgrounds are actually added to my style box. It will say they are, but I can't find them!! Also, the last download showed all sorts of categories, unfortunately they came empty, except for the cartoon like ones, which I don't want!!!! Also, the setting to return to last used style when composing new mail seems to skip the styles I have created myself, which of course I do want! So, at this point, IM2 is like any other e-mail client, I can send and receive mail, but have no "specials" which make IM so unique in the first place.

Glad to hear that you're making progress. If you read through and follow the advice from the post who's link I've attached below it may clear up the rest of your problems.

It's not working.

How do I get back to Xe??????????
Because the link in that topic only brings you back to IM2.... Sooooooo not funny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Understood.
But if it opens the program!! and allows me to add content!! and send/receive mail!!!!!!!!! I'll want that.
I am currently without IM, simply because I can't read my mails or receive/reply/send etc.
So where do I get the right link to installing Xe???

As downgrading is not advised, IncrediMail will not be held responsible for damage or data loss resulting from this action. The downgrade will be kept on record, and will result in loss of any support connected to downgrade issues.

If you still wish to return to IncrediMail Xe, you must first uninstall IncrediMail 2 by clicking the Windows 'Start' menu, selecting 'Programs', scrolling to 'IncrediMail' and clicking 'Uninstall IncrediMail'.


After the uninstall completes, click on the following link to download IncrediMail Xe, and install the program:

For now I am able to send/receive mail through IM2.
However, I can't add any content from anywhere outside my PC, and even then only manually.
It says it's downloaded and added to my stylebox, but I can't find any of them anywhere!!!!!!!
I'm not worried about losing data as such, I'm pretty well backed-up.
However, I DO mind losing the fun in IM2, like ehm..... The backgrounds!!!!!!!!
