Slow since downloading version 2

Postby lengthofwire » Wed Dec 15, 2010 6:34 pm

Your IncrediMail Version: 2.0
Your Internet Browser Type: Google Chrome
Your Operation System: Windows XP

What have you done before the problem occurred?
Downloaded version 2

If you receive any error message, please quote it precisely:

Please provide a full description of the problem:
Since installing version 2.0 my e-mail programme is noticeably slower. When I try to scroll down a message is takes a few seconds to react, and a similar delay occurs when selection a different folder (Inbox) for the first time. The whole IncrediMail experience is much slower now and I am begining to wish I had left it as it was!

Will this problem be sorted once the, much criticised, "F" add-on is resolved?

Hi lengthofwire,

Sometimes deleting the runtime folder fixes this problem. Read through this post for the details.

Hope that helps.

Tried that, but no improvement. It still takes a lot longer to open a folder than before the upgrade.

Yup for me too. I run Vista Ultimate, and ever since the upgrade of IM, IM runs like a slug. Is there a way to remove the animated link for "animate yourself" and other flash ads that's now showing?
