I downloaded the latest upgrade to IM (build 5176) yesterday, Mar. 6/2012. Since then, when I receive e-mail, multiple copies keep coming into the Inbox (5-10 copies). What happened with this upgrade and how can I fix this?
Same thing happened to me, it was driving me crazy...continous error messages to download Incredimail again as the solution. I decided to give the 2.5 Beta version a try. I no longer have the multiple emails and it has not crashed, but the 2.5 version has a few minor bugs for me, which I previously posted.
Multiple repeated messages and runtime crashes as reported by others. Problem started with upgrade I installed on March 7. Windows 7 Incredimail 2 Premium Current Build 6295175 Don't know what the build number was before the upgrade. Downloaded and installed the full version but the same problems occurred. Uninstalled Incredimail and reinstalled the current version from the Incredimail website. When you get this fixed.....hope you widely inform all of your customers
I upgraded, What a bloody shambles, tried downloading again, same problem, Why don"t Incredimail leave well alone,? it wasn't broke, why fix it?. I did a system restore and got back to normal, in future I refuse to upgrade.
Up untill this latest upgrade, I have been very satisfied with the program. I understand that software can be very touchy stuff. But Incredimail does not handle there problem very well with their customers. I sent this problem to Incredimale by VIP Help because I have their premium edition. It took two days to get answer and that answer was to "reinstall Incredimaile by clicking here". In my orginal message to them I told them I had uninstalled the program and then reinstalled it from their website and that it DIDN'T work. They need to send emails to all their customers telling them what is going on....and to banner that message on their Home website page. If they do not start responding with some concern, I will do the only thing that one can do....drop them and get a better email program.
I've been using Incredimail for years now without problems but yesterday I kept getting these multiple copies of the same email. I tried reinstalling the program but it still did it. I tried the 'Restore' method without any luck, so I uninstalled Incredimail and will try it again next week in the hope that it works and if it doesn't, I will stick with Gmail
