Too Many Emails

What have you done before the problem occurred?

Please provide a full description of the problem:
Windows XP
Version 2002
Dell Optiplex 740
AMD Athlon (tm) Processor 1690B
2.71 GHz 1.93 GB of Ram

My Internet Provider is CenturyLink. However when I started with them I kept my Incredimail as my email. No Problems with this but changed the settings with the help of CenturyLink.
Server Information: Incoming Mail
Outgoing Mail

Port Numbers are Outgoing (SMTP) 587
Incoming (POP3) 110

Problem is that when I open up Incredimail I get thousands of emails, like 19,000 and they come pouring in. I don't know how to stop this. Everything else seems to work okay except for this problem.

If you can help please give very clear response as I am not real good at understanding about these computers. Thanks!

To download all the email to your computer and not leave any copies on the mail server, please do the following:

In the IncrediMail main window, click the 'Tools' menu and select 'Accounts'.

Select your email account and click 'Properties'.

Select the 'Advanced' tab and clear the 'Leave a copy of messages on server' check box .
