Did your account previously work in IncrediMail?

Do you have the same account configured on another computer at the moment?

Which IncrediMail version do you have installed?

Which server names appear in your account configuration?

The issue you are dealing with may be caused by incorrect account details. I would like you to reconfigure your email using the 'Email Setup Wizard':

1. First please refresh your IncrediMail installation by clicking the link below:
http://www.incredimail.com/beta/?is=t

2. Click 'Tools' and then select 'Email Accounts'.

3. Chose your account, click 'Remove'. To reconfigure the account, click 'Add'.

4. In the Account Wizard window, chose 'Let me configure settings myself', and click 'Next'.

Please Note – If you do not have another email client installed on your computer, you will not see the 'Let me configure…' option. Continue to Step 5.

5. Please choose your email service provider. If it is not listed, click 'Other'.

6. Follow the instructions to set up your account.

Note: Make sure that the password that you have entered is identical to the one your email account provider has given you.

Thank you for the reply, it did not work though, I did it just like you suggested. - I have my msn email account in there and it works fine
I should mention I have been using incredimail for years and have never had this problem - on my last computer I was running the 2.0 version and when i added my Comcast email it picked it right up

I too am having the same problem with this new Incredimail 2.5 I have looked at all the postings about retrieving my Comcast email and all the instructions do NOT WORK after entering my email address manually it does NOT give me the option to switch to POP3 just says that it is a Comcast incorrect email address. Sorry to say but after having my address for 10 years I should know if it is wrong or not. I can send but cannot receive any mail.

Since you are experiencing this problem in IncrediMail, I would like you to test this email account configuration in Windows Live Mail. To do so, please do the following:

Open Windows Live Mail, click the 'Tools' menu and select 'Accounts...'.

Click 'Add' and select 'E-mail Account...' and click 'Next'.

Complete your account configuration and click 'Finish'.
Try to send and receive your email using Windows Live Mail and let me know the results.

I tried and that works....so there is nothing wrong with Comcast email OR my password or account information, it is defiantly a problem with incredimail 2.5
