I can not search my mails

Your Operation System: Windows 7

What have you done before the problem occurred?
Dear All,

I have changed my computer and I have moved all may mails.
I have approx 28000 mails.

Please provide a full description of the problem:
After this new instalation into my new computer I can not search my old mails.
All my mails are inbox and folders but I CAN NOT SEARCH IT.

Can anybody please help me.

Hi,

Maybe because you have so many emails the search is taking a long time and you may think it's not working when it really is. Try clicking on a folder that has just a few emails in it and see if the search works.

Hello,

Thank you for your fast reply.

I have tried with no succes.
I have tried also to search an email received after the instalation in my new computer and it works. If I have a big numner of emails from that sender I can see only the ones received after the instalation.

I would like you to do the following:

1) Right-click the IncrediMail Tray Icon (near the computer clock) and select 'Exit'.

2) Browse to the following location:

%userprofile%\AppData\Local\IM\Identities\{LONG_NUMBER}\Message Store\

3) Delete the 'Index','IndexH' & 'IndexB' folders (delete only these 3 folders).


IncrediMail will re-index your messages again as soon as your computer will be in idle mode.

Hello,

Thank you for your info. I did checked and I have found only IndexB and IndexH. I have deleted and now when I am using the search tool I can find only the emails received after the time that I deleted the old index.

What I can do now?
How can I see when the "IncrediMail will re-index your messages again as soon as your computer will be in idle mode".

I can inform you that in the past I have changed my computer several time and I did not had this problem. On my last computers I had Windows XP.
