Old Version..Go Back

Your IncrediMail Version: Inc 2
Your Internet Browser Type: FireFox 3.5
Your Operation System: Windows XP

What have you done before the problem occurred?

Please provide a full description of the problem:
Have Inc 2.
I want to go back to my old version of Incredimail.
I am trying to run it but get Error saying I have the new version and to use that.
Will I lose all my addresses and saved email folders if I completely uninstall Inc 2 and reinstall
the old version?

Hi,

I don't believe any email you received while using IM2 will be available to the older XE version. The formats are different.

I just control panel uninstalled Inc 2 out of frustration and reinstalled Incred XE.
I did get back all my stuff, BUT got a HYBRID version..some of the elements of
Incred2 like the scroll bar and skins came out in different shades and colors. Looked like a psychedelic circus .
So I unstalled from the control panel once again and went back to that dreaded Inc2.
That link in the other thread is not very helpful because the error message appears when trying to instal Inc XE
IF ANYONE KNOWS HOW to get a clean uninstall and re-install of Inc XE>PLEASE POST>

This is the only way to un-install and then re-install IncrediMail. You will have to remove IncrediMail using the control panel and then re-install IncrediMail using the following link:

As downgrading is not advised, IncrediMail will not be held responsible for damage or data loss resulting from this action. The downgrade will be kept on record, and will result in loss of any support connected to downgrade issues.

Hi,

I just downloaded the IM file from the provided link above. I checked the version and found it to be build 5864332.
