Incredimail wont start anymore.

Your IncrediMail Version: 2.0 ?
Your Internet Browser Type: Internet Explorer 8
Your Operation System: Windows Vista

What have you done before the problem occurred?
Incredimail won't start up anymore. Can see it attempt to start in task manager, and then it just quits.

If you receive any error message, please quote it precisely:
None.

Please provide a full description of the problem:
Vista Service Pack 2.
Tried upgrading the version of incredimail with it already installed. Have also uninstalled and reinstalled version 2.0. Still wont install.
Have run ccleaner to clean up extra files.
Have updated to Flash 10.1
Have run defrag.
Incredimail still wont start up.
I have the imdata.cab created for any technical support rep to look at. Let me know where to email it.

Oh, forgot to add, I also tried the compatibility mode option.

I have the same problem. It was fine up until this morning. I have tried the same sort of things - downloading an upgraded version; downloading the full version of V2.0; repair via Control Panel; going back to a restore point; checking for corrupted files etc etc etc. The only other thing I have not yet tried is completely uninstalling and then re-installing,but I don't want to lose all my emails and contacts. Have never had any problems with Incredimail before and have been using it for over 5 years.

So... Im guessing from the lack of a response to this thread, and not to others, that the folks at IncrediMail cannot help ?

Information about your IncrediMail installation will be necessary to better understand the reasons for the problem you are experiencing. We have created a tool, which collects the necessary data and creates the 'IMData.cab' file, to help you provide us with the most relevant information.

To create the 'IMdata.cab' file, please click here. Click 'Run' in the File Download dialog, click 'Run' again when asked to run the software and follow the instructions in the SupportUtil dialog.

Send me a private message and attach the IMData file.

Have tried to PM Incredimoderator with the IMdata.cab file but it is sitting in my Outbox and I can't see how to get it to Send - I am missing something obvious??

Why your Outbox?
You are meant to send the IncrediModerator a Private Message.
So click on his name > then under Contact IncrediModerator you choose Send a Private Message ..you will see a box to write in and under the box the option to Attach a file. Attach the IMdata.cab file. And send!

Thanks Martine, but I WAS sending a Private Message. In User Control Panel, under Private Message, there is an In Box, Outbox and Sent Items. The message stayed in my Outbox, but today I see it has moved to Sent Items.

Yeah. I finally got around to sending the file they requested, but the email is also still sitting in the outbox here on the forum.. thats just fantastic...
