Your Internet Browser Type: Internet Explorer 8
Your Operation System: Windows 7

What have you done before the problem occurred?
simply read and deleted emails

If you receive any error message, please quote it precisely:
no error message

When I try to type someone's email address, the @ sign is this "

In order to solve the problem you encountered, please do the following:

1. Open IncrediMail.

2. Click on 'Tools' and select 'Options...' , then click on the 'Language'.

3. Uncheck the 'Use the last language that was used for editing' checkbox.

still no solution huh?

I am about fed up. I am thinking that I should start looking for another email program <Sad Smile> sending an email without the @ symbol is impossible

Hi jaysjan,

Maybe you have inadvertently configured IncrediMail to use the Dvorak keyboard.

Check to see if you're using the correct keyboard layout:

    Click the Windows 'Start' menu, scroll to 'Control Panel' and open the 'Regional and Language Options' window, then select the 'Languages' tab and click on 'Details'.

    In your 'Text Services and Input Languages' window make sure that the Dvorak keyboard is not selected.

I cannot type the @ symbol in my Incredimail program therefore I cannot send email from that account. I use Hotmail and Windows Live with no problem. Also when using my Office 2007 I don't have a problem typing the @ symbol. This happened to me a few years ago and I ended up shutting down the Incredimail program and not using it at all. That was disappointing because I paid for it and I really like the variety it gives me. Can you help me? I have tried the other things you mentioned in this forum.
